Let’s Eat Candy!! {Happy Halloween}
Posted by Sheila on Oct 31, 2011 in DIY, Halloween, Tempt Your Sweet Tooth | 8 commentsRemember when I said last month that I thought my life would be back to normal?? Ha!! It still isn’t, but I’m managing to spend a few days at home before heading out of town again. You can’t imagine my excitement when talking to a girlfriend on Saturday afternoon, we decided we were well overdue for a night in with the girls before I left town again. Well, there’s no time like the present, so Saturday night was the night. We quickly called two other girlfriends, selected movies and assigned food tasks. We were not going to stress over creating anything elaborate–we all chose to pick up candy, food and drinks from our local stores and favorite restaurants to make it super easy to pull our impromptu party together.
Having the candy assignment was easy–we NEEDED Halloween candy!! Almost everything came from Target, so I spent very little time running from store to store. I dug into my stash of dishes and accessories and the table was done in a very short time. I chose to use the breakfast room hutch and transformed it into a sea of orange and black.

Here are a few additional shots.
We had a great evening and took full advantage of indulging in EVERYTHNG–sushi, salad, steak, shrimp, roasted veggies, cheesecake, popcorn and candy. Our diets begin today! LOL
Happy Halloween!!

What an awesome job! So much attention paid to detail. Love it all.
Thank you Pamm! Taking advantage of Halloween candy made it a breeze!
Sushi? Salad? Steak? Shrimp? Cheesecake? Popcorn? Candy? Where is the “AFTER AFTER” shot? Looks like a very good time!
Gppdness, we were practically embarrassed by the “BEFORE BEFORE” spread. We’d never approve of a public “AFTER AFTER” shot!! LOL We had a fabulous evening.
I think you are brilliant. <3
Patti, as you are the QUEEN of all things party, I am flattered by your compliment! Thank you!!
Amazing!!! Your work is outstanding lady!
Thanks so much Jem!!
